Detroit Creative changes name to Traction

Detroit Creative of Vancouver has changed its name to Traction Creative Communications. The 10-year-old agency, which also has an office in Whistler, BC, provides brand identity, communications strategy, creative, graphic design, advertising, multimedia and pre-press services. The re-branding initiative is intended to reposition the firm in its market. "The new name is more indicative of who we are and where we're going," said agency president Larry Donen. "Traction means adhesive friction, which is exactly what we provide our clients. Through a constructive process of friction we create effective business and brand solutions that stick."
