BenQ hires Deep Sky for Video Sound tour promotion

Digital display maker BenQ has retained Deep Sky - Sound Marketing Ideas to handle marketing in support of its sponsorship of an upcoming tour called Video Sound by Canadian rock bands The Waking Eyes, The Marble Index and Boy. Deep Sky is the national marketing and programming division of Toronto-based Corus Radio. The effort will include sponsorship of on-air programs on Corus radio stations nationally, celebrity endorsements and a branding campaign. "This type of vertically-integrated marketing approach, that is so intrusive with the target audience, is the kind of planning for which Deep Sky is primarily designed," said Deep Sky general manager David Huszar.
