Investor relations firms merge to form BarnesMcInerney

Two investor communication firms, The Barnes Organization and McInerney & Company, have merged to form a new company called BarnesMcInerney. The capital market communications agency, based in Toronto, will offer services in three categories: investor relations, IPO roadshows and new media design. The company will be led by managing partners Ken Barnes and Brian McInerney. "Combining our operations increases both our efficiency and capacity to better serve clients," said Barnes. "CEOs understand that investors will reward them for enhanced disclosure and better IR communications. This is the expertise we provide."
