Passage: Billy Tiegs

Twenty-year ad industry veteran Billy Tiegs died on Jan. 2 after a lengthy illness. He was 43. Tiegs most recently operated TiegsMedia, a media and marketing consulting firm he opened in January of 2000. Prior to that, he spent 18 years in the Canadian ad business, working at agencies including BBDO, Young & Rubicam, J. Walter Thompson, MBS, NextMedia and Miller Myers Bruce Dalla Costa.
