Velocity Product Solutions moves into Europe

Toronto-based Velocity Product Solutions has expanded its operation into Europe. The company's services include new product development, strategic marketing planning and execution, communications design, product launches, business plan development, grant application assistance and manufacturing planning. The firm has appointed Chris May, based in London, England, director of VPSI Europe. May will seek investors and work to create strategic alliances and joint ventures in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. May has spent the past 30 years as an international director of Thomas Cook. He has also been regional director of interpayment products for Barclays Bank, project manager for the UK's Know How Fund in Latvia and Kaszhakstan, and adviser to the deputy chairman of the Moscow Narody Bank. The company has also appointed John Davies to the position of finance manager. He will be based in Toronto. Davies has previously held financial positions at Imperial Life Insurance, Cara Operations, Thomas Cook Canada and Fitzhenry & Whiteside Publishers. For the past 10 years he has operated his own practice.
