ROYAL CANADIAN MINT RETAINS NURUN

The Royal Canadian Mint has hired interactive communications firm Nurun to redesign its Web site and improve its electronic commerce system. The e-commerce work was completed on Nov. 1. The modified site will debut in February. Nurun won the assignment in a competitive bidding process involving an unknown number of additional firms. Nurun will designing the graphic look and feel of the site and the user interface. The aim of the redesign, according to the firm, is to increase the mint's brand equity among collectors, gift-givers, investors and corporate visitors. Nurun is a subsidiary of Quebecor Media.
