PHILISHAVE CONDUCTS TWO COOL SKIN PROMOTIONS

Toronto-based TrojanOne has undertaken two promotions in support of Philishave. The first is a text messaging contest that began on Dec. 6 in association with radio stations The Edge 102.1 in Toronto, Y108 in Hamilton and FM96 in London, ON. Contestants must send the message "cool skin" to these stations to enter a draw for a prize package including the company's new electric razor, the Cool Skin. Corus Entertainment division DeepSky Radio is also participating in the promotion. Radio ads promoting the contest will air for two weeks the three cities. MyThum Interactive is managing the technical aspects of the contest. The second initiative is an online draw for seats in the Philishave Ice Box at the Dec. 15 Toronto Raptors basketball game. Eight winners will be chosen from among those who enter the contest at <http://www.raptors.com/philishave>. The game will be designated "Philishave Night." The box will be decorated with an arctic theme to match the company's current advertising, along with the arena signage. The effort is intended to promote Philishave's sponsorship of the Raptors and the Cool Skin 7000 line of products.
