NORMAN AGENCY, NASCAR DRIVER BEGIN MARATHON FUNDRAISER

The Norman Agency of Toronto has reached an agreement with NASCAR Nextel Cup driver Michael Waltrip to raise money for a children's charity called the Victory Junction Gang Camp. The agency and Waltrip will attempt to raise $1 million dollars for this organization during an initiative called Operation Marathon. While the fundraiser lasts, the Norman Agency will contribute 10% of its gross revenues from participating clients that commission new radio commercials. The agency has also created a series of radio public service announcements for Operation Marathon which feature Michael Waltrip. The Victory Junction Gang Camp provides camping experiences for children with chronic illnesses.
