AWARD SHOW ROUND UP

The 34th annual Canadian Marketing Association Awards took place on Friday. The Best of the Best award went to Elections Ontario for its 2003 "Engage the Vote" campaign, created by DDB Canada. The Directors' Choice award was given to Kraft Canada for its consumer CRM program "What's Cooking." In addition, a Lifetime Achievement award was presented to Bruce Phillips, the former Privacy Commissioner of Canada, for his efforts in that position to make consumer privacy an important issue for businesses. This is the first time this award has been given to someone from outside the marketing industry.
