NEW PUBLIC AFFAIRS AGENCY OPENS IN TORONTO

Two Toronto government relations firms, Excelsior Consulting Group and Suasion Public Affairs Management, have merged to form a new agency called Counsel Public Affairs. The firm has four principals: Excelsior founding partner Philip Dewan, Suasion co-founders Charles Harnick and Caroline Pinto, and newcomer Charles Beer, most recently the executive assistant to the Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care. "I am thrilled to see these two successful firms come together," said Dewan. "Charles Harnick and Caroline Pinto have tremendous experience in government and a proven, profession approach to public affairs and government relations."
