ALLIANCE ATLANTIS READIES MARKETING FOR SHOWCASE, FOOD NETWORK AND HGTV

Alliance Atlantis Communications is promoting its fall programming on Showcase, Food Network Canada and HGTV with new campaigns. The TV campaign for Showcase began in mid-September. Print advertising will break next month. Six 30-second television ads and six print ads, created in-house, depict viewers thanking the channel for encouraging them to push their boundaries by airing provocative programming. The campaign for Food Network Canada will break on Monday. Outdoor, print, radio, cinema and transit advertising, created by FCB Toronto, will be supported with on-air promotions, created in-house. The HGTV campaign will consist of outdoor, print and on-air elements. It will begin on Saturday. The campaign makes use of the hosts of four HGTV series: Debbie Travis of "Debbie Travis' Facelift," Sarah Richardson of "Design Inc.," Mike Holmes of "Holmes on Homes" and Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman of "Design Rivals." The print elements were created by FCB. The TV commercials were created in-house.
