By Adnews Staff
Montreal-based Metrovision, in association with Sanyo Canada, began a program yesterday to put video projectors and display screens in Montreal subway stations. The screens will display advertising, train schedules, news, weather reports and items about sports and entertainment. The first projectors went into operation yesterday at the Berri-UQAM station. The companies plan to install 140 screens in 16 stations between now and December 2006. The screens will come in three sizes: seven by four feet, 12 by seven feet and 16 by nine feet.
