WOODBINE PROMOTES QUEENS PLATE

Woodbine Entertainment Group is promoting the upcoming Queen's Plate race with a foam finger giveaway. The foam fingers are depicted as wearing white satin gloves, lace and pearl buttons. The fingers will be distributed at the race on Sunday. The fingers also appear on billboards promoting the event. Woodbine has recently used bar coasters to promote the Labatt Woodbine Oaks race on June 13 and sticker-covered loonies to promote the Pepsi North America Cup on June 19. Woodbine is using these items to supplement its traditional advertising in newspapers and magazines. The company's ad agency is Leo Burnett of Toronto
