COSSETTE CREATES NEW UNIT

Cossette Communication Group has created a new business unit which it describes as specializing in branded content. The unit, called Ricochet Branded Content, will operate in Cossette's Montreal, Toronto and New York branches. According to Cossette, the unit will create content such as television and radio programs, magazines or video games intended to position a brand or promote a product. The unit will be headed by Jacques Labelle as managing partner for creative and Yves Desjardins-Siciliano as managing partner for development. Ricochet will seek to identify a media platform that matches the objectives of a client, then develop the content and manage production. The re-purposing of content for different platforms will also be handled by Ricochet.
