GILLETTE BREAKS M3POWER ADVERTISING

Gillette Canada of Mississauga has begun a new advertising campaign for the M3Power men's razor. The campaign consists of a 30-second television commercial and a print ad, both of which use the tagline, "The Best a Man Can Get." The television advertising, created in the style of a movie trailer, began running on May 22. The print advertising will run in the June issues of several magazines. The razor went into distribution on Monday. The advertising was created by BBDO New York and adapted for Canada by BBDO Canada. Public relations for Gillette are handled by Porter Novelli Canada of Toronto.
