By Adnews Staff
Coca-Cola of Atlanta, GA has begun promoting its new C2 cola. Advertising includes a television spot breaking this week featuring the song "You Can't Always Get What You Want" by the Rolling Stones. A second spot featuring the song "I Want To Break Free" by Queen will begin airing in July. Radio, outdoor, cinema and online advertising will also support the U.S. launch of the beverage. The campaign's tagline is "Half the carbs. Half the cals. All the great taste." C2 will be available on stores shelves early next month. The drink contains half the carbohydrates, calories and sugar of regular colas. Advertising is being supported with sampling programs in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Miami. Coca-Cola is also giving employees cases of C2 to share with family and friends.
