MDC ACQUIRES MAJORITY INTEREST IN HENDERSON BAS

Toronto-based MDC Partners has acquired 65% of interactive agency henderson bas of Toronto. The remaining 35% is held by the agency's management. Henderson bas offers marketing strategy and research, database marketing, Web design, online advertising and promotions. The agency's clients include Levi's, Nike, Sprint Canada, Molson and Yamaha Motors. MDC also holds interests in kirshenbaum bond + partners, Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Margeotes/Fertitta and Cliff Freeman & Partners.
