LABATT RENEWS GRIP ASSIGNMENT

Labatt Breweries of Canada has renewed the agency-of-record status of Toronto-based Grip. The brewer was the two-year-old agency's founding client. "We're very happy with the work Grip has done for us and look forward to continued partnership and shared success well into the future," said Andrew Howard, senior director of marketing at Labatt. Partners David Chiavegato, Dave Crichton, Scott Dube, Graham Lee, Rich Pryce-Jones, Mike Robitaille, Bob Shanks and Randy Stein opened Grip in 2002 with a two-year contract agreement with Labatt already in place. The agency's client list also includes Honda Canada, Janssen-Ortho, Cadbury Trebor Allan and Parmalat Canada.
