BURGER KING PROMOTES UNDER 7 COMBOS

Burger King Restaurants of Canada is preparing to promote a new collection of meals called "Under 7" which will be introduced on Oct. 6. The meals will each contain 7 grams of fat or less. Initially two meals will be available: a veggie burger and a grilled chicken sandwich, together with drink and a baked potato or a salad. The Under 7 combos will be promoted with print, television or radio advertising, depending on the market, according to Lisa Brenneman, marketing manager for new product development, research and public relations at Burger King. The advertising was created by Deutsch of Toronto. Public relations will be provided by Pilot Public Relations, also of Toronto. Burger King has 350 restaurants in Canada.
