ENTERPRISE CREATES NEW TIM HORTONS ADVERTISING
By Adnews Staff
A new North American advertising campaign for Tim Hortons will break in Canada this week. Created by Enterprise Creative Selling of Toronto, the campaign describes the freshness of Tim Hortons donuts. The television commercial depicts a boy who works at a Tim Hortons and his uncle. The uncle asks the boy to page him whenever fresh donuts are being made. The rest of the ad shows the uncle's pager going off during meetings, phone calls and presentations. In the radio ad, an announcer changes the phrase "Fresh as a daisy" to "Fresh as a donut." The campaign will run in English and French for four weeks. It will begin in the U.S. next month. Tim Hortons is also running another 30-second television ad during August. This staff recruitment ad depicts a husband reassuring his wife as he drives her to her new job. The man then lines up to be her first customer. The staff recruitment campaign also includes in-store materials.
