PERFETTI VAN MELLE BEGINS MOVIE PROMOTION FOR MENTOS AND FRUITTELLA

Perfetti Van Melle Canada has initiated a packaging promotion for its Mentos and Fruittella brands. Until March 31, 2004, consumers who send in two proofs of purchase from four-packs of Mentos mints or Fruittella fruit chews will receive a movie ticket redeemable at any theatre in Canada. Stickers describing the offer have been attached to the packaging of both product lines. Perfetti Van Melle and Quantum Loyalty Systems of Incline Village, NV jointly created the promotion.
