IBM PROMOTES ENSON FREEMAN

U.S.-based International Business Machines Corp. has consolidated its estimated $15-million(US) worldwide promotions account with Einson Freeman Promotional Campaigns of Paramus, New Jersey. The computer maker wants to bump up its sales promotion efforts through tie-ins with other major marketers, as well as by connecting with the Olympics and other big events. Einson won the account in a competition with three other U.S. promotional firms: Alcone Marketing Group, Clarion Marketing & Communications and Marketing Corp. of America. Two years ago IBM consolidated its advertising around the world with Ogilvy & Mather Worldwide of New York.
