TIM HORTONS PROMOTES TURKEY BACON CLUB SANDWICH

Tim Hortons is promoting its new Turkey Bacon Club sandwich with a national advertising campaign. The four-week television, radio and outdoor and in-store campaign was created by Enterprise Creative Selling. The TV commercial shows three construction workers talking about the sandwiches they are having for lunch. The first says, "Fresh tomatoes." The second says, "Turkey," while the third says, "Bacon." Below them is another worker eating a Turkey Bacon Club sandwich. The first asks, "What do ya got there?" The man holds up his sandwich and says, "All of the above." The other three workers jump up to leave as the first says, "Yeah, we got time." The radio ad describes the sandwich ingredients through a series of telephone messages. The campaign's tagline is, "Come home for lunch at Tim Hortons." In Quebec, the sandwich is being promoted with French-language television and radio advertising created by Enterprise/J. Walter Thompson.
