WORKPLACE SAFETY BOARD BEGINS SUMMER AWARENESS BLITZ

Ontario's Workplace Safety and Insurance Board began its annual safety awareness campaign on Monday. Now in its fifth year, the campaign targets young people during the summer months, encouraging them to learn about workplace safety rights and responsibilities. This year's campaign includes radio, transit, outdoor and storefront advertising. The campaign's tagline is, "How safe is your job?" The creative presents the stories of three people who have experienced a work-related injury or loss. The ads also include the board's Web site address <http://www.youngworker.ca> and a toll-free phone number. The campaign was created by Toronto-based Fuel Advertising. It will run until Labour Day.
