ONTARIO CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS BREAK NEW ADVERTISING

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario has begun a new multimedia advertising campaign aimed at Ontario businesses. The message of the campaign, created by SGCI Communications of Halifax, is "Who does your accounting?" The campaign, which is is intended to increase awareness of the CA designation, consists of a series of print ads and radio commercials. The first print execution appeared yesterday. The first two radio ads will break next week. Additional creative will be released as the campaign progresses. Each ad focuses on the value a company's financial statement can have. The ads include the copy, "How you account for what your company does is as important as what your company does." The campaign's tagline is "CA might just as easily stand for corporate accountability." The print advertising will run until the end of April, while the radio ads will continue until the third week of May.
