TURKEY MARKETING AGENCY RESUMES TUESDAYS CAMPAIGN

The Canadian Turkey Marketing Agency, based in Toronto, has resumed its "Turkey Tuesdays" advertising campaign, a year and a half since its last run. First used in 1999, the campaign aims to increase per capita consumption of turkey among Canadians by raising awareness of the smaller cuts of the meat available for purchase. The national campaign, conducted in English and French, consists of 15-second television commercials. Each ad presents a turkey recipe, highlights the food's low fat nature and directs the viewer to the agency's Web site at <http://www.turkeytuesdays.ca>. The campaign also includes four print ads in the form of double-sided thirds of a page designed to be clipped and saved. Each ad contains a recipe. The campaign was created by Ambrose Carr Linton Carroll of Toronto.
