QUEBECOR WORLD SIGNS YELLOW PAGES CONTRACT

Montreal-based Quebecor World has signed a new $270 million agreement to print yellow and white page directories for Yellow Pages Group, formerly Bell ActiMedia. Quebecor World will print 18 billion pages per year for approximately 100 directories in Ontario and Quebec. The printing will be done at the company's facilities in Bromont, PQ, Toronto and Richmond Hill, ON. The duration of the agreement, described by the two companies as "long-term," is unknown. "Throughout our long relationship Quebecor World has continued to improve service so we are able to provide our advertisers with the best ROI media in Canada," said Yellow Pages Group president and CEO Marc Tellier. Yellow Pages Group is owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Ontario Teacher's Merchant Bank and Bell Canada.
