CANADA INVESTMENT AND SAVINGS BREAKS PRINT ADVERTISING

Canada Investment and Savings is using a print advertising campaign to promote New Canada Savings Bonds as a holiday gift-giving idea. The ad was created by Vickers & Benson Companies of Toronto. It shows a girl hugging her mother. The image is set against a black background. The copy reads, "This year, give them something they'll grow into. Not out of." The ad is running in the December issues of Chatelaine, Maclean's, l'Actualité, House and Home, Canadian Living, Les Idées de ma Maison and Coup de Pouce. Other marketing plans include an email ad that describes New Canada Savings Bonds as, "A great gift for today, and one that's sure to be appreciated down the road." The email was also created by Vickers & Benson. New Canada Savings Bonds are sold from October to April each year. Public relations for Canada Investment and Savings are handled by Goodman Communications of Toronto.
