TELETOON HOLDS TOY GIVEAWAY

Toronto-based animation station Teletoon will begin a sixth "Great Toy Giveaway" promotion on Dec. 1. The annual initiative is conducted by the company with Montreal-based toy manufacturer Hasbro. Each day in December a draw will be held for a daily toy prize. Beginning Dec. 1 a 30-second commercial will encourage viewers to call a toll-free number to enter that day's draw. The first 100 callers will be entered. The spot will run through December between four and seven p.m. Created by Teletoon, the ad displays Hasbro toys and describes the contest.
