PREMIUM BEER, ALLIANCE ATLANTIS BEGIN GOLDMEMBER PROMOTION

The Premium Beer Company of Mississauga and Alliance Atlantis Communications of Toronto have begun a promotion for the home release of the movie "Austin Powers in Goldmember." The four-week promotion, running nationally in bars, is being supported with 30-second television commercials on sports networks. The ads encourage viewers to order a Tetley's English Ale, distributed in Canada by Premium Beer. Customers who do so will receive a scratch and win ticket and a contest ballot. Contestants can instantly win DVDs or enter for the grand prize of a trip to London, England. Alliance Atlantis will release the movie on video and DVD on Dec. 3. The promotion was developed by Brand Effects Promotions of Burlington, ON.
