TACO TIME PROMOTES FULL-MEAL PLATTERS

Calgary-based Mexican restaurant chain Taco Time Canada has begun an effort to promote the addition of five new full-meal platters to its menus. The initiative began with in-store materials, displays and signboards. A national radio campaign using the tagline "Real Mexican Taste" will begin in February 2003. Taco Time operates 115 franchised restaurants between British Columbia and Ontario. The five platters include a soft super taco, a soft meat burrito, a veggie burrito, a chicken fajita and a crisp shell taco. Each comes with salad, rice, beans and a soft drink. The in-restaurant materials and radio advertising were created by TAG Advertising and Marketing of Calgary.
