PRISZM BRANDZ BEGINS AGENCY REVIEW

Toronto-based priszm brandz has begun advertising agency review intended to consolidate the accounts for its KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut chains with one agency. Priszm operates approximately 760 restaurants in Canada. Currently advertising for KFC is done by Ogilvy & Mather, advertising for Pizza Hut is done by BBDO Canada and advertising for Taco Bell is done by TBWA\Chiat\Day. All three agencies have been invited to participate in the review. Young & Rubicam, Bates Canada, Flavour and Grip Ltd. will also be considered. The winning agency will handle brand strategy and creative services. Media buying, currently handled by OMD, may also be incorporated into the consolidated account. According to the company, a decision will be made before the end of the year.
