ENTERPRISE CREATIVE SELLING BEGINS TORONTO STAR CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
A new campaign for The Toronto Star developed by Enterprise Creative Selling of Toronto will begin this week. The campaign consists of two components: one promoting the newspaper's 110th anniversary on Nov. 3 and one promoting The Toronto Star brand in general. The advertising is also intended to lead up to the debut of the newspaper's new design on Nov. 12. The anniversary component of the campaign will use full-page ads to promote the publication of 11 commemorative sections called "11 Decades in 11 Days," the firs of which will appear on Nov. 1. The branding component will use a teaser campaign of print, television and radio advertising that asks questions such as, "Do you see or do you have vision," and "Do you speak or do you communicate?" On Nov. 12 the teaser creative will be updated to include the re-designed newspaper. The advertising will run until early December.
