7-ELEVEN AWARDS CREATIVE ADVERTISING TO TRACY LOCKE

Convenience store chain 7-Eleven, Inc. of Dallas, TX has awarded its creative advertising account to Tracy Locke Partnership of Dallas. The agency will create broadcast, print and outdoor advertising to promote 7-Eleven and its proprietary products including Slurpee beverages and Big Gulp drinks. The agency was hired after an agency search which was concentrated in Dallas, according to 7-Eleven managing director and chief marketing officer Russ Klein. Tracy Locke created the 7-Eleven name in 1946 and was the company's first agency. The chain has approximately 23,000 stores worldwide, including 5,800 in Canada and the U.S.
