ABORIGINAL PEOPLES TELEVISION NETWORK BEGINS BINGO BILLBOARD CAMPAIGN

The Aboriginal Peoples Television Network will begin a mobile billboard campaign today to promote its Friday night "Bingo and a Movie" program. The campaign will run for three weeks in Toronto, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver. One side of the billboard shows the headline "Everybody loves Ramona" and a picture of an elderly aboriginal woman yelling. The other side displays the headline "Fear factor - TV with no reservations" and a picture of a large bingo card. Both executions incorporate the network's logo and a banner which reads "Bingo and a movie. Fridays 9pm." The campaign will travel routes in each city intended to reach aboriginal communites. The vehicles will also stop to distribute bingo cards. Advertising for Aboriginal Peoples Television Network is done by Taylor George Media of Winnipeg. The mobile billboard is from Motomedia Advertising of Woodbridge, ON.
