STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES RECEIVES BERLEX CANADA PROJECT

Toronto-based Strategic Objectives has begun a new program for client Berlex Canada to search for Multiple Sclerosis champions. Pharmaceutical company Berlex, based in Lachine, PQ, produces the MS treatment Betaseron. It hired Strategic Objectives to handle this public relations initiative, called Champions of Spirit, earlier this year following a confidential, competitive pitch. The program is looking for Canadians who are either living with the MS or caring for someone who is. Nomination forms are being distributed through Canadian MS clinics. The ten selected people will be announced later this year. A $2,000 donation to their MS-related charities of choice will be made by Berlex. "Our team is definitely enjoying our collaboration with Berlex Canada," said Deborah Weinstein, president and partner of Strategic Objectives. "It's a fantastic fit and we look forward to continuing to help them reach out through meaningful public relations initiatives in the year ahead."
