CANADA RECONNECT BREAKS TELEVISION CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
Canada Reconnect has begun a new television campaign. The Vancouver-based pre-paid phone company specializes in providing telephone service for Canadians who have been cut off by companies such as Bell or Telus. The national campaign was created by Publicis. Three 30-second commercials will run in rotation until the end of the summer. The ads show a young man who is forced to shout from the windows of his house in order to take calls from his friends. The ads end with the voiceover, "Not having a phone is just plain weird. So if you've been cut off, we can hook you back up. Canada Reconnect." A 15-second version of the ad will run in the fall.
