BMG CANADA HIRES APEX

Toronto-based BMG Canada has awarded APEX Public Relations of Toronto a campaign assignment to mark the 25th anniversary of the death of Elvis Presley. The agency won the business in a competitive review of an unknown number of agencies. APEX will be responsible for national media relations activities and event support services that will showcase Presley's place in music history, said APEX vice-president Tracey Bochner. Activities will begin immediately and run until the end of the year. Presley died on Aug. 16, 1977.
