ABCON HOLDS BOOM-AD CONTEST

Abcon Media of Toronto will begin a contest to promote its Boom-Ad advertising space on July 2. Employees of Canadian advertising agencies will be invited to develop creative for an ad to run on Boom-Ad parking gate sleeves. The submission must be an ad for a current client. The parking gate sleeves are oval in shape with 3.33 square feet of advertising space. An email piece to promote the contest will be sent to Canadian agencies. The winning entry will be picked by Abcon Media staff and a panel of creative representatives. It will be displayed at five Toronto locations, described by Abcon as "prominent," this fall. Second and third prizes will also be distributed. The contest will run until Aug. 16.
