CADBURY BEVERAGES BEGINS QUENCHESSENTIALS CAMPAIGN

Cadbury Beverages Canada Inc. of Mississauga has begun a new advertising campaign for its Schweppes brand called "QuenchEssentials." The campaign includes radio advertising, promotional partnerships and a consumer contest. The radio commercials will run through the summer, fall and holiday seasons on various Canadian stations. They will feature broadcast personality Terri Michael as the Schweppes home entertaining spokesperson. The campaign will also have an online presence at <http://www.thatsthespirit.com>. A "QuenchEssentials" page will present recipes, hosting tips and a calendar of the year's special occasions. Next month a contest called the Schweppes Summer Garden Party will begin. Game codes will be printed on specially marked 2L bottles of Schweppes products. Consumers enter the codes on the QuenchEssentials Web page to see if they have won a summer garden party or backyard entertainment accessory. Also, seminars involving Schweppes products will be held at LCBO locations and print ads for Schweppes will appear in the LCBO's Food and Drink publication.
