KREMEKO LOOKS FOR QUEBEC PR AGENCY, PREPARES SECOND CANADIAN LOCATION
By Adnews Staff
KremeKo Inc. of Markham, ON is in the final stages of an agency search to find a public relations agency for Quebec. Judi Richardson, vice-president of marketing and communications for KremeKo, said two firms are being considered for the Quebec assignment, but she would not identify them. A final decision is expected next month, she said. KremeKo opened the first Krispy Kreme doughnut store in Canada in Mississauga in December. Its lead public relations agency is The Wilcox Group of Vancouver. Edelman Public Relations handles the business in Toronto.
In related news, KremeKo will open its second Krispy Kreme store this fall. The outlet will be at the Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill, ON. The company plans to open 32 stores over the next six years in Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada. KremeKo appointed Taxi Advertising & Design of Toronto its agency of record last year prior to the opening of its first location. Since that time the company has also begun using Square Peg of Toronto.
