CANON CANADA TO SPONSOR CANADA WINTER GAMES

Canon Canada of Mississauga has become a "major sponsor" of the 2003 Canada Winter Games. The games will take place from Feb. 22 to March 8, 2003 in the Bathurst-Campbellton region of New Brunswick. Approximately 3,000 Canadian athletes will compete in 21 sports. The "major sponsors" of the 2003 Winter Games are those that have contributed over $350,000. Canon's name and logo will be on all event materials and signage. Canon Canada was a sponsor of the 1997 Canada Summer Games in Brandon, MB. Canon also supported the 1999 games in Corner Brook and the 2001 games in London, ON. Public relations for Canon are handled by National Public Relations.
