PIZZA HUT TO PROMOTE P'ZONE

Pizza Hut is releasing a new product called the P'Zone in Canada, backed by a multi-media advertising campaign. The P'Zone is a 12-inch pizza crust folded in half, containing Mozzarella cheese and other toppings, served with marinara sauce for dipping. It comes in three varieties: Pepperoni, which comes with sliced pepperoni; Meaty, which comes with pepperoni, sausage, ham and beef; and the Canadian, which comes with pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms. The P'Zone will be sold at the 360 Pizza Hut locations in Canada until May 26. The national introduction of the pizza will be promoted with a television and radio advertising campaign, in-store materials and direct mail, created by BBDO New York and adapted for the Canadian market by BBDO Canada. Public relations for the introduction are being handled by Fleishman-Hillard.
