MBTELEHEALTH HIRES TAYLOR GEORGE FOR WEB WORK

MBTeleHealth has hired Taylor George of Winnipeg to design its Web site and intranet site. MBTeleHealth is a province-wide health network that uses satellite, wireless and landline technologies to provide broadband services to remote hospitals and medical facilities in Manitoba. Taylor George won the design contract after a request for proposals. MB TeleHealth's Web site will provide the public with information about the network. The intranet site will be used to provide the network's staff with education materials, policy statements, training manuals and presentations. The organization hopes to have its intranet running by early next month and its Web site open by the end of May.
