Vancouver-based Ernex Marketing Technologies' Giftcertificates.ca Web site is offering companies a new product called Giftpass. Ernex Marketing Technologies manages electronic marketing program for clients. Its Giftcertificates.ca site sells branded gift certificates from Canadian retailers, restaurants, hotels and entertainment providers. Giftpass is a new reward and incentive product being targeted to mid- and large size companies across Canada. Delivered via email or in a paper format, the Giftpass can be branded with a company's corporate logo or with a personalized message. The recipient uses the code provided on the Giftpass to redeem the amount of the Giftpass for gift certificates at merchants of their choice. In addition to employee programs, the Giftpass can also be used for promotional purposes, as contest prizes, trial initiatives and to support new product launches.
