CANWEST MEDIA SALES APPOINTS MEDIA RESEARCH VP

CanWest Media Sales has appointed Kathy Gardner vice-president of integrated media research. Gardner will join the marketing and sales arm of CanWest Global Communications Corp. on Feb. 11. Previously she was executive vice-president and director of media operations at Bates Canada. Gardner has also served on the Canadian Media Directors Council and is a past president of the Broadcast Research Council.
