TDI DONATES SPACE FOR ORGAN DONATION CAMPAIGN
By Adnews Staff
TDI Canada is undertaking its second annual social awareness campaign, this year attempting to raise support for organ donation. The Toronto-based out-of-home media company's U.S. parent, TDI, has sponsored similar campaigns for the past 12 years in all the countries in which it operates, including the U.S., Britain, Ireland and Holland, said Richard Bridgman, vice-president and market manager for TDI Canada. TDI entered the Canadian market in late 1999. Each year a new cause and new partners are chosen for the social awareness effort. For this year's campaign TDI has partnered with Organ Donation Ontario and QE2 Health Services in Halifax. TDI is coordinating the three-month campaign, running in Halifax and various Ontario markets, and providing free exterior media space in association with transit authorities in those markets. Creative for this year's campaign was designed by Romero Britto of Miami. Production was donated by TDI Canada suppliers. Organ Donation Ontario is an independent, non-profit organization that promotes public awareness and support for organ donation.
