MCCANN-ERICKSON TO SERVE BURGER KING U.S. BUSINESS

Burger King Corporation has awarded McCann-Erickson of New York its adult general market advertising account for its U.S. business. The appointment concludes a four month agency review that shortlisted Campbell Mithun Esty of Minneapolis, Grey Worldwide of New York and McCann as finalists. The account was previously handled by Lowe, Lintas & Partners of New York. New creative from McCann is expected to be running by spring. Burger King said it also expects to make a decision regarding its kids advertising in the next few weeks.
