PJ DDB AND RAPP COLLINS FORM ALLIANCE

Vancouver-based Palmer Jarvis DDB and Toronto-based Rapp Collins Worldwide Canada have formed a strategic alliance creating a new integrated communications network. An eight-person steering committee comprised of PJ DDB, RCWC and DDB Group Canada executives will oversee the network. The agencies, both members of the Omnicom Group, will remain independent. However, RCWC will move its operations to PJ DDB's Toronto office, placing both agencys under one roof in that city. Clients of both agencies will be offered a range of services including mass advertising, interactive marketing, branding and design, youth-based marketing, PR, promotions, event planning, direct response, tele-services, database management, data analytics, decision sciences and recruitment. "We're integrating the expertise of Rapp Collins Worldwide Canada in customer relationship marketing with PJ DDB's creative advertising and our family of integrated marketing services," said Frank Palmer, president and chief executive of PJ DDB. Palmer will head the steering committee overseeing the communications network.
