HARRY ROSEN SPLITS WITH GARNEAU WÜRSTLIN
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Harry Rosen has split with its ad agency Garneau Würstlin Philp Brand Engineering, according to a report in the National Post. The menswear retailer had appointed Toronto's GWP in July after parting ways with Roche Macaulay & Partners Advertising of Toronto, which had held the account for the previous four years. GWP won the account over Gee, Jeffery & Partners, Campbell & Partners, Ogilvy & Mather and Zig. Harry Rosen's marketing director Sandra Kennedy would not comment on the break. Harry's current holiday advertising campaign was created in-house. Bruce Philp, partner at GWP, said in the report that the retailer is intent on handling its advertising in-house and may not be launching a review any time soon. Officials at GWP could not be reached for comment before press time.
